Tenant Liability Insurance Program
Protecting your investment is a priority to us, so we require all tenants to carry tenant liability insurance. While this is not a replacement for your own landlord insurance coverage, it does provide an added layer of protection against accidental damage caused by the tenant, such as fire or flooding. This added layer of protection helps reduce your financial risk and safeguard your property’s profitability, at no cost to you.
How the Program Works
- All tenants are automatically enrolled in the program. It is not optional.
- Coverage charges are billed directly to the tenant
- This policy provides up to $100,000 per occurrence of liability coverage for damage the tenant accidentally caused to the property.
Comprehensive Coverage That Matters
At no cost to the property owner our insurance program will help reduce the risk of a property owner needing to file too many claims with their own insurance:
- Fire and Smoke Damage
- Explosion
- Falling Objects
- Water Damage
- Sewer, Drain, or Sump Backup/Overflow
Why This Matters to You
By requiring tenant liability insurance, we:
- Minimize your financial exposure to tenant-caused damage
- Protect your cash flow from unexpected repair costs
- Maintain your property’s profitability by shifting liability responsibility appropriately
Our streamlined program reduces the chances of accidental tenant-caused damage becoming your financial burden, giving you peace of mind and protecting your investment’s long-term value.
